This interdisciplinary integrated Master's course focuses on understanding the relationship between the fundamental structure and properties (mechanical, electrical, optical and magnetic) of matter. You specialise in materials that can stimulate beneficial biological responses from the body. Biomaterials engineering involves synthesis, processing, and characterisation of novel materials, including polymers, proteins, glasses, cements, composites and hybrids. |
